Acclaimed Santa Cruz Chef Katherine Stern opened The Midway in September 2020 as a pop up at the Santa Cruz Community Farmers’ Markets.
Her creative menus are driven by relationships with local growers, highlighting the farmed and foraged ingredients she hand-picks weekly at the Farmers’ Market.
Stern credits her favorite dishes to the products vendors share locally, creating the inspiration for menus at The Midway.
The Midway opened as a brick and mortar location in December 2023 at 1209 Soquel Avenue.
